Log Data to CSV with USB

The Data Logging feature allows you to export data from your Vista Touch meter to a CSV file at a customizable interval. Make your software is updated to the latest version, and insert a USB drive configured as FAT32.

Swipe up on the display to get to the Settings menu and select Data Logging to open the Data Logging screen.

Once you are on the Data Logging screen, prepare your log file with the following steps:

1) Configure the date and time

This step is important to ensure the timestamps in your file are correct. Vista Touch meters do not have an internal battery to determine the date and time, so your timestamps will be based on what you select here.

If you do not select a date and time at this step, your log file will output blanks instead of a timestamp: ----/--/--/-- --:--:--

2) Choose your log speed

The log speed will dictate the interval at which rows are written to your CSV file. You can select a value between 10 - 60 seconds.

3) Start and enter a log file name

Press start and enter a file name. Make sure there are no special characters or spaces in the file name.

Whenever the file size limit is reached, data logging will continue on a new file with the same name and a numerical code.

You can verify that data logging is in progress in three ways:
