Update the APM Firmware

An internet connection is required to perform the following steps: 

  1. Connect the APM to the computer with a USB cable.

  2. The APM model will show in the APM configurator screen.

     

  3. Under the Updates menu, check to see if "Install Updates for Selected Model" is highlighted. If so, click that option.
  4. Let the updates complete, then click "Configure APM."

*Please note that some updates will reset your settings so please make sure to write them down before performing the update.
