APM Isolation Reference
Isolation prevents electrical noise, surges, or ground faults in one part of a system from affecting other parts. This improves safety, measurement accuracy, and overall reliability. The table below shows which inputs and outputs are electrically isolated for Trumeter APM's, so you can quickly see how each product will behave in your installation.
APM | Power Input | Voltage Input | Current Input | Digital/Relay Outputs |
---|---|---|---|---|
Amp Meter | N/A | N/A | Isolated | N/A |
M2 Meter | Isolated | N/A | Isolated | N/A |
Power Meter | Isolated | Isolated (not isolated from current input) | Isolated (not isolated from voltage input) | Isolated |
MAX M21 & M23 | Isolated | Isolated (not isolated from current input) | Isolated (not isolated from voltage input) | Isolated |
