Prevent Magnetic Interference

The following applies to these APMs:

  • Amp Meter
  • M1 & M2 Meters

The APM can be affected by magnetic interference from strong magnets and conductors carrying high voltages. To prevent interference, make sure these are kept at least six inches away from the meter. 

The APM can also be affected by the earth's magnetic field when the input is not active. This issue should resolve when the input is active.
