What does this error code mean for the APM Temperature Meter?

The following is a list of error codes and reasons for the APM Temperature Meter.

Code Reason
USB Unit is only powered from USB, functionality is limited
OPEN Thermocouple is open circuit
VOLT There is a voltage present on the thermocouple inputs (might be due to a grounded thermocouple)
TRNG Thermocouple voltage is out of range (input voltage is greater than the spec for the type selected)
CRNG Cold junction is out of range
OVER Value is greater than 9999 (ignoring the DP)
