Understand the Quartz Standard

Quartz timing is an industry standard and applies to any timer labeled with the word "Quartz" on the front panel. 

For Quartz timers, the input voltage needs to be activated/applied for at least 36 consecutive seconds to record time.  For example, if you energize the meter for 35 seconds, turn off power and then turn the power back on for 1 second, it will not record any time.
